The lesson for today mainly talked about special right triangles. More specifically, 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles. Here is my prezi link, and if it doesn't work, I will be sad:

The Golden Ratio!

The computer wouldn't let me post the blog yesterday, so I had to post it today.

Basically, this prezi is about golden ratios, as well as a little history behind them.

Yesterday's (January 12) homework was finishing up the Golden Ratio Activity with your groups.

Today's Homework is 7.4 Page 257 2-12 even 14-17, 18 ,20, 21, 24, 27, and 30-32. Good Luck!

Definition of proportions: Equation statithat 2 ratios are equation.

Defintion of extremes: The 1st and last terms of proportions.

2 polygns are similar if correspond angles are congruent and corresponding sides are proportional. The lengths must have the same ratio.

Is this statement true?

If 2 triangles have corresponding angles congruent, then they are similar.
